Monday Keynote Speaker: Jimmy Yeary
Jimmy Yeary is the rarest of speakers. Because his content is filled with instantly recognizable moments, audiences are quickly taken to a high level of energy.
Jimmy Yeary is not only a highly sought-after speaker, he is a hugely successful songwriter and his music is all around you. Jimmy Yeary was the lead singer of the Grammy Award winning supergroup SHENANDOAH, performing #1 hits like Mama Knows, Somewhere In the Vicinity of the Heart, and Sunday in the South.
Jimmy has written more than two-thousand songs. Nine of Jimmy's songs have been certified "Number 1" hits by Billboard Magazine. Both the CMA and ACM awarded Jimmy Yeary with "Song of the Year" for I Drive Your Truck. Jimmy's most recent Number 1 was Everything's Gonna Be Alright, a song he wrote for Kenny Chesney and David Lee Murphy.
He has also been called "one of the most engaging speakers in the country". Jimmy takes the lessons he has learned and the experiences he has encountered in his music career and applies them to creating results for businesses, organizations, and teams. Tuesday Featured Speaker: Scott Gaddis
Scott Gaddis leads thought leadership and serves as Vice President and Global Practice Leader of Safety and Health for Intelex Technologies in Denver, CO, where he builds partnerships with key clients and leading influencers across the EHS community.
Before joining Intelex, Scott was Vice President of Global Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability for Coveris High-Performance Packaging in Chicago, IL. Earlier in his career, he spent five years as Executive Director of Global EHS at Bristol-Myers Squibb and 18 years with the Kimberly-Clark Corporation in a series of senior EHS leadership roles, culminating in the role of Global Director of Occupational Safety and Health. Scott began his career at GE, serving for five years as EHS Director in the Motors Division.
A frequent voice in the profession, Mr. Gaddis has been published in numerous EHS trade journals and has lectured at national and international HS conferences. He is the author of From Participation to Partnership--A Journey to Safety at the Frontline, and his second book, From Partnership to Practice, carries that work forward--turning partnership principles into the everyday habits that bring safety to life at the frontline. Scott is a Special Government Employee supporting the U. S. Dept. of Labor and has earned numerous honors, including VPPPA Mentor of the Year, for his leadership in EHS. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Occupational Safety and Health from Murray State University in Murray, KY.
